Richard Parfitt
Richard Parfitt is a musician and academic〔https://applications.bathspa.ac.uk/staff-profiles/profile.asp?user=academic%5Cparr6〕 from Newport in south Wales, most publicly notable for his role as a founding member of 90's rock band The 60ft. Dolls.〔I-D〕〔http://www.allmusic.com/artist/60-ft-dolls-mn0000920131〕 He had previously played in mod band The Truth, playing bass on their 1985 album Playground.
After having several UK Top 40 hits during the 90's,〔60 Ft. Dolls#Discography〕 along with moderate success in the US, The 60 ft.
